Scholarship & Donor Relations Manager, Asian Pacific Fund

At the Asian Pacific Fund, Golda supports over 80 low-income scholarship students each year, and helps donors achieve their charitable goals through scholarship programs and donor-advised funds. Her supervisor has described her work as a mentor and counselor to the youth as exceptional, as Golda brings an impressive level of commitment, integrity, and compassion to the job.

Golda was born in the Philippines and grew up in the Bay Area under the strong influence of her mother and late grandmother. This humble upbringing and immigrant experience has driven her dedication to the community

In addition to her work at the Fund, Golda regularly volunteers at the Mabuhay Health Center, a free community mental health clinic serving Filipinos in the South of Market area. At the Center, she has held several roles while advocating for culturally sensitive patient care and integrating behavioral health into the clinic’s services. Golda also teaches Mental Health First Aid, a mental health literacy and anti-stigma course to community groups in San Francisco and San Mateo Counties.

Golda earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Education from U.C. Berkeley.
