As aspiring writer built experience in theatrical production with Brenda’s Mermaid Meats production – managing publicity, events and ticket sales.
Mentor: Sandy Ouye Mori (WW 1983), Kimochi Inc.
A woman in transition gained deeper understanding of the special philosophy of elder care at Kimochi Inc. and developed a Japanese language brochure for Kimochi Home.
Mentor: Adrienne Pon (WW 1996), Zeum
Two young women took on leadership roles in continuing to develop Zeum’s teen outreach program
Mentor: Alice Bulos (WW 1987), California Health Initiative
Mentee gained leadership experience under CHI’s community service, education and outreach programs.
