Senior Program Officer, Thomas J. Long Foundation

Aimee is a Bay Area native with a passion for community, philanthropy, and public service. She has spent her career and life devoted to improving the lives of the underserved. As the Senior Program Officer for the Thomas J. Long Foundation, she is overseeing the development of a multi-year, multi-million dollar strategy to improve the lives of children and families in the East Bay.

Before working for the Foundation, she worked at On Lok Senior Services. She is the immediate past co-chair of the San Francisco Chapter of Asian American Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy.

Aimee’s grandfather, Raymond Eng, was elected to the Oakland City Council in 1967 and was one of the first Asian Americans elected to public office in the country. She is committed to continuing his legacy as a public servant and aspires to hold public office.

Aimee has spearheaded several community engagement efforts locally, including the “Hella Heart Oakland Giving Circle,” a multi-generational donor circle that leverages philanthropic investments in Oakland.

She received her undergraduate degree in American Studies from Wesleyan University and Master’s degree in Education-Policy Organization and Leadership Studies from Stanford University.
