6th Annual Bay Area Chuseok Festival
Presented by Korean Center, Inc.
Our Annual Chuseok Festival is the Bay Area's largest public event celebrating, showcasing, and promoting Korean culture, cuisine, music, arts, and community. The festival will have delicious Korean food (both traditional and fusion), exciting live performances from local Korean cultural performance groups, traditional Korean games and activities, and more!
Oakland Chinatown: A Dream of Belonging Tour
Oakland’s Chinatown is a vibrant home and hub for immigrants and communities across the Asian diaspora. Learn about the development, displacement and dynamics of this historic neighborhood, starting in the 1850s during California’s Gold Rush. We’ll visit key cultural locations of culture, meet local leaders, and learn about Asian American social movements over the decades, while discussing current efforts and issues in the community. Come early for dim sum, or stay after to enjoy the delicious cuisines! A level walk with some stairs and indoor visits.
AAPI Playwright Festival
Contemporary Asian Theater Scene (CATS), in collaboration with award-winning director and playwright Jeffrey Lo, who serves as the Artistic Producer, are launching its inaugural AAPI Playwright Festival.
Directed by Tasi Alabastro and Wynne Chen, this unique theater arts experience showcases the talent of local Bay Area AAPI theater artists.

Sister-to-Sister is a unique experience for middle and high school girls to build confidence, spark change and celebrate Asian American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander (AANHPI) culture.

The AAPI 5K is a community run celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. The run will highlight the vibrant Asian American community and organizations that work year-round to create a safe and welcoming space. The event will fundraise for incredible AAPI non-profits.

Join History San Jose for a day of festivities: a women-owned lowrider exhibition, cultural performances, a poetry lounge, crafts, open museum, community vendors, and more. This FREE event is being co-curated with Mosaic America and La Raza Historical Society of Santa Clara Valley. Mas Dulce will serve as the lowrider exhibit DJ.
